What we do

Six things, done properly, every month

Fixed fees agreed up front. If your volume changes, the fee changes at the next review — never as a surprise line item.

Monthly bookkeeping

from $330/mo

Bank feeds coded weekly, everything reconciled monthly. Covers up to 100 transactions a month; honest tiers above that.

BAS & IAS lodgement

from $220/quarter

Prepared from a reconciled ledger, checked twice, lodged on time through the BAS Agent portal. Extensions when you need them.

Payroll & STP

add-on from $77/mo

Up to 5 staff: payslips, super, and Single Touch Payroll filed every pay run. Award questions go to your accountant or HR adviser — we'll flag them.

Rescue & catch-up

from $1,200 (6 months behind)

Six months of shoebox is our bread and butter. Fixed quote before we touch a thing, then a start-fresh handover to the monthly rhythm.

Xero setup & migration

$750–$1,800

From spreadsheets, MYOB, or nothing at all. Chart of accounts built for your trade, bank feeds connected, opening balances that actually balance.

Monthly reporting pack

add-on from $110/mo

P&L, cash position, who owes you what — in plain English, in your inbox the first week of every month.

Client words

The 11pm shift, retired

Fourteen months of receipts in two Bunnings bags. Clearfigure had us reconciled and lodged in three weeks, and the fixed fee hasn't moved since.

MelCafé owner · Victoria Park

I stopped doing invoicing on Sunday nights. That alone is worth the monthly fee — the on-time BAS is a bonus.

DaveElectrical contractor · Wangara

BAS used to be a quarterly panic. Now I get one email saying it's lodged, and that's the whole event.

Where we work

South Perth desk, WA-wide books

Bookkeeping is the most remote-friendly trade there is: bank feeds, receipt photos, a shared Xero file and a monthly video call. We meet Perth metro clients in person when it helps — everyone else, from Albany to Broome, gets exactly the same monthly rhythm.

  • Perth metro — in person or remote, your call
  • Regional WA — fully remote, same fixed fees
  • Receipts by phone photo, never by shoebox drop-off (unless you insist)

Straight answers

Questions we actually get asked

What's the difference between a bookkeeper and an accountant?+

We keep the ledger true week to week — coding, reconciling, payroll, BAS. Your accountant works from that ledger once or twice a year: tax returns, structures, advice. Good books make their job faster and their bill smaller, which is why we say your accountant will thank you. We're happy to work directly with them.

What does a Registered BAS Agent actually do?+

Registration with the Tax Practitioners Board is what legally allows us to prepare and lodge your BAS and IAS, and to deal with the ATO on your behalf for GST, PAYG withholding and super matters. An unregistered bookkeeper can code transactions but can't lodge. Ours also means qualifications, supervision requirements and professional indemnity insurance sit behind every lodgement.

I'm eight months behind. How fast can you untangle it?+

Typically two to four weeks once we have bank feed access and your paperwork, depending on volume. We quote the whole catch-up as a fixed price first — around eight months of backlog usually lands between $1,600 and $2,600 at typical volumes — then lodge any overdue BAS in order. The ATO is far more workable when a registered agent is lodging a plan than when statements are simply missing.

Do I have to move to Xero?+

No — we work in whatever keeps your books accurate, and we support MYOB files too. We recommend Xero for most WA small businesses because bank feeds, receipt capture and payroll live in one place, and our fixed fees assume that efficiency. If a migration makes sense we'll quote it separately ($750–$1,800) and you'll see why before deciding.

What do you need from me each month?+

Honestly: about ten minutes. Photograph receipts as you get them (we set up the app), answer our short query list — usually three to six transactions we can't place — and keep your invoices going out of the same system. We handle the rest and you get the reconciled pack in the first week of the month.
