The trips that went fine.

★★★★★

"Annual service before the big lap. They pulled a rear bearing that looked fine to me and showed me the scoring — that one would have let go somewhere past Meekatharra. Caught on the bench instead of the roadside."

Rob & Lyn H. — Baldivis, staging for the lap
★★★★★

"Booked the pre-trip check two weeks before we were due on the ferry. Battery was reading 12.1 and dropping under load — dead cell. New battery fitted with days to spare. The check found it before the ferry booking did."

Sarah M. — Success, family of five
★★★★★

"Our van sat under the carport all winter and I had no way to tow it in without borrowing the neighbour's LandCruiser. They came to us — full service in the driveway, checklist signed on the tailgate. Worth the eighty bucks ten times over."

Ken P. — Hamilton Hill, at-home service

Straight answers · FAQ

What owners ask us.

How often does a caravan actually need servicing?

Once a year or every 10,000 km towed, whichever comes first — bearings and brakes wear by distance, but seals and gas fittings age by time even when the van sits still. If it's been parked under a carport all winter, book before the trip, not after it.

What does the gas compliance certificate cover?

A full inspection of the gas system — cylinders, regulator, hoses, bayonet fittings and every appliance — plus a pressure leak test, done by our licensed gasfitter. You get the certificate insurers and many caravan parks ask to see. It's $140 on top of any service.

Why do wheel bearings matter so much?

Because they're the thing that strands you. A tired bearing runs hot, collapses, and can take the hub, brake assembly and stub axle with it — usually a long way from anywhere with parts. Repacking them once a year is cheap; a tilt-tray home from the Wheatbelt is not.

Can you service the van at my place?

Yes — anywhere in the Perth metro for an $80 callout on top of the service price. We bring jacks, a bearing press and the gas gear. Driveways, verges and storage yards are all fine as long as there's room to work safely on both sides.

Do you service motorhomes too?

The caravan side of one, yes — chassis, brakes, gas, 12V and habitation systems. The engine and driveline are a job for a mechanic, and we'll say so rather than pretend otherwise. Plenty of motorhome owners run two bookings: engine there, house here.
