The reviews we’d frame

Our guests thought the ceremony was written by someone who’d known us for years. It was — by then.

M & J — bespoke ceremony, Wills Domain, Yallingup

Our Tuesday-morning legals felt like a wedding, not a queue at licensing.

R & A — legals-only, Bathers Beach, Fremantle

The wind contingency got used and nobody in the photos can tell.

S & K — classic ceremony, South Beach, Fremantle

Demonstration reviews — written as sample copy for a fictional business.

Questions couples actually ask

Asked at every first chat

Legals-only is $450, a classic ceremony is $900 and bespoke is $1,350 — add a rehearsal ($150), a unity ritual ($80) or the PA & signing table ($90) and that’s the whole bill. The builder above does the maths live: classic with a rehearsal and the PA comes to $1,140. No booking fees, no surprises at the invoice.

A Notice of Intended Marriage lodged at least one month before the day, two witnesses over 18, and a short set of words the Marriage Act requires each of you to say. Everything else — the story, the vows, the ritual — is yours. We handle the lodgement, the declaration and the certificates.

Popular dates — summer Saturdays, first light on a long weekend — go a year out. The legal minimum is one month. Both are true, so check your date early and we’ll hold it while you sort the venue.

Yes — the Act’s words are two sentences, and the rest is yours. Bespoke couples get a vow workshop; classic couples get honest editing and a nerve-proof card to hold on the day.

Fremantle to Margaret River — beaches, wineries and everything between. Past Bunbury adds a travel figure we quote exactly, not a surprise, and it’s on the agreement before you sign.

Every outdoor ceremony carries a wet-weather call time — a named hour when we make the call together — and a backup location we’ve actually seen. The plan B is written into the runsheet, so if the sky turns it’s a change of address, not a change of wedding.
