Questions we get on every walkthrough
Are your cleaners actually your employees?
Yes — every cleaner is directly employed by Brightwork, police-cleared, insured and superannuated. We don't subcontract regular sets, ever. The exception we'll always disclose: specialist one-offs like external high-rise glass go to a licensed specialist partner, named on your quote.
What does the walkthrough involve?
Twenty to thirty minutes on site with whoever knows the building. We measure the floor, count wet areas and kitchens, note floor finishes and security/alarm handover, then send a written scope and fixed price within two business days. No obligation, and we won't camp in your inbox afterwards.
Can you clean outside business hours?
That's the point. After-hours is our standard — most sets run between 6pm and 2am, keyed and alarm-coded, so your staff never trip over a vacuum cord. Daytime service is available where a site requires it (some medical suites prefer it).
What about supplies and consumables?
Cleaning chemicals and equipment are included in the visit price. Consumables you go through — bin liners, hand towel, toilet paper, soap — are itemised at cost on the same invoice, so you can see exactly what you're using. No "supplies levy" mystery lines.
Insurance and police clearances?
$20M public liability, workers' compensation for every cleaner, and a National Police Clearance on file for every team member — renewed on our compliance calendar, not when someone asks. Certificates of currency supplied with your service agreement.
Is there a minimum contract?
The first 60 days are the commitment — that's how long it takes to bed in a set and prove the standard. After that it's month-to-month with 30 days' notice. If we're not keeping the standard, you shouldn't need a lawyer to leave.
