Add-ons

How the program is priced: one initial consult plus the program's reviews at the format's rate; scans multiply the appointments you'll actually attend; the meal plan and the pantry session are flat. Fees are GST-free as health services. Medicare (with a GP care plan) and private-health extras rebates are yours to claim and are declared, never subtracted. NDIS participants are billed to the plan at the NDIS rate — ask us.

    Services

Appointments, programs and the add-ons that make them stick

Fees are GST-free. The "from" figures are the Plan Builder's cheapest outputs — a telehealth format with nothing added — so the page never argues with itself.

    Initial consultsfrom $160

Sixty minutes: history, bloods if you have them, what you actually eat, and a first plan you can start at dinner. $160 by telehealth, $170 in the clinic.

    Kickstart · 6 weeksfrom $430

An initial consult and three fortnightly reviews. Enough runway to change a habit and see it hold — IBS patterns, a first HbA1c shift, a race block.

    Transform · 12 weeksfrom $700

An initial consult and six reviews over three months. For the bigger changes: metabolic health, a full low-FODMAP elimination and reintroduction, a pregnancy.

    Personalised meal plans$120

Seven days built around what you'll cook, shop for and eat at work — not a template. Revised at a review if life changes.

    Pantry & supermarket sessions$150

An hour in your kitchen or the Vic Park IGA reading labels together. In person only — it's the point of it.

    Body-composition scans$40 an appointment

Bioimpedance on the clinic scanner at each visit — muscle, fat and water tracked over a program, not just the bathroom scale.

    Telehealth · Australia-widefrom $160

Video from anywhere in Australia, the same dietitian each time. Scans and pantry sessions stay in the clinic; everything else travels.

NDIS & GP care-plan billingsee the FAQ

Medicare rebates with a GP chronic disease management plan, NDIS plan- and self-managed billing at the NDIS rate, private-health extras receipts on the day.

Not priced on the page: NDIS participants are billed to the plan at the NDIS rate, and private-health extras depend on your fund and level — we tell you the item numbers before you book, never guess a figure.

    ★★★★★
Twelve years of "it's just my stomach" and night shifts at the hospital. Six weeks in, the food diary and the reintroductions showed a pattern I could actually see — the bloating had a cause, and it wasn't everything.

Fuelling plan for the Perth marathon built around my long-run Sundays and a desk job. Three minutes off my PB and I stopped hitting the wall at 32 km — the race-week carb plan was printed on my fridge.
    Tom A. · Como · runner · Sports Kickstart
    ★★★★★
Our GP sent us both in with pre-diabetes numbers. The pantry session at our house was the turning point — we kept eating what we like, just differently. HbA1c moved for both of us by the twelve-week review.

Tell us a little and we'll find you a time

The Plan Builder's program comes across with the form. We ring to confirm the time, check your referral paperwork if you have any, and send the new-client questionnaire before you arrive.

We'd call you back within one business day with appointment times — or ring (08) 9000 0370 now if your GP has asked for this week.

Tell us who to ask for.

A number we can ring back — digits, spaces and + only.

Pick your suburb (or telehealth from elsewhere).

GP care plan, NDIS, private — or not sure is fine.

No account, no deposit — we ring to confirm.

    Questions before the first appointment

What people ask when they ring

    Do I need a referral?
No — anyone can book. A GP chronic disease management (care) plan isn't required, but it brings a Medicare rebate on up to five allied-health visits a year, so if you have a chronic condition it's worth asking your GP before the first appointment. We bill you on the day and you claim the rebate.
    What does Medicare cover?
With a GP care plan, Medicare rebates about $60 on each of up to five dietitian visits a calendar year — the Plan Builder notes what that comes to across your program. Without a care plan there's no Medicare rebate, though private-health extras may cover part of the fee depending on your fund and level. Fees are GST-free either way.
    Are you an NDIS provider?
Yes — plan-managed and self-managed participants, billed to the plan at the NDIS dietetics rate, with a service agreement and reports for your plan review. That's why the Builder shows no number for NDIS: the rate is set by the price guide, not by us. Agency-managed participants — ask us.
Is telehealth as good as coming in?
For most plans, yes — the consult is the conversation, the food diary and the plan, and all of that travels by video. Two things don't: body-composition scans need the clinic scanner, and the pantry session is in person by definition. The Builder switches both off on telehealth and says why.
How soon can I be seen?
Usually within the week — earlier by telehealth. Reviews are booked as a block at the initial consult so the program keeps its rhythm; if your GP has asked for this week, ring rather than wait for the call back.
Will my private health extras cover it?
Most funds with extras cover dietetics to an annual limit, and we give you an itemised receipt on the day to claim. The amount depends on your fund and level, so we don't print one on the page — check your cover and we'll tell you the item numbers before you book.
