Exercise physiology · Bentley

A programme you can actually keep doing.

Two accredited exercise physiologists, a Bentley studio and home visits from Como to Canning Vale.

$145 to assess, $110 a session — the same fee whichever way you are funded.

Chronic conditions, post-surgical reconditioning, balance work and NDIS capacity building. Most practices ask you to ring and find out what it costs. We would rather you read the fee first and rang us about the programme.

What we charge

Four prices, and that is the whole list.

Every session is one-to-one with an exercise physiologist unless you choose the group class. Nothing here is a package, a joining fee or a minimum term.

Initial assessment

$145

60 minutes · clinic or home

How you move now, what you want to be able to do, and a written programme you leave with.

Follow-up session

$110

45 minutes · one-to-one

We watch you do the programme, change what is not working, and load it up when you are ready.

Home visit

+$40

a session · added to the above

We bring the bands, the step and the scales to you. Southern suburbs only — the list is on the map below.

Small group class

$35

45 minutes · up to six people

The same programme, supervised, with five other people doing theirs. Not a gym class.

The class is $35, but you cannot start there. Every block begins with the $145 assessment, so the smallest thing this page can quote you is $145 — and that is the floor the estimate will never go under. The tiles above light up as you change it.

The bit nobody publishes

Which door are you coming through?

1 · Your door — it changes the paperwork, not the price

2 · How long a block, and where

$695 6 sessions at the Bentley clinic Same total through any of the four doors.

Six sessions, three ways. Each block is a session — 60 minutes to assess, 45 after that.

Three lanes on one time axis showing the same block of sessions priced at the clinic, as home visits, and as an assessment followed by group classes.

What we will not print

We do not print the Medicare rebate, the NDIS hourly rate, a DVA or WorkCover figure, or what a private health fund pays back. Medicare, the NDIA and your insurer set those, and they change.

We print our fee, above, and nothing else. Bring the plan or the referral, ring us, and we will read it with you and tell you what is left to pay.

What to bring — a GP chronic condition plan

  • The referral form your GP filled in, and the plan itself if they printed it.
  • Any recent letters, scans or test results you were given.
  • A list of what you take, and anything a doctor has told you to avoid.
  • Shoes you can move in.

Who we invoice: you, on the day, and we give you the receipt and the paperwork to take back to your GP.

How we work

Four things worth knowing before you ring.

01

The door does not change the fee

A self-funded client and a plan-funded client pay us the same. Nobody here is subsidising anybody else, and you can check it yourself in the panel above.

02

Three exercises, not thirty

You leave the assessment with a written programme short enough to do. We would rather prescribe three things you keep doing than a folder you stop opening.

03

We do not promise outcomes

We describe what we do: assess how you move, write a programme, supervise it, and change it as you go. Anyone quoting you a result has not met you yet.

04

We will talk you out of sessions

If you are steady on your feet and doing the work, we will say so and move you to the class, or finish the block early. It is in the panel above, priced.

What clients say

Three notes from the studio.

“I have had programmes before. This one was three exercises on one page, so I actually did them.”

Marion, Riverton · six-session block

“They rang my plan manager themselves and sorted the billing. I did not have to explain it twice.”

Support coordinator, Cannington

“Told me the class would do the same job for less money. I did not expect to be talked down.”

Dennis, Como · moved to the Thursday class

These are demonstration reviews written for this page. They are not real clients and they are deliberately not marked up as structured review data.

Where we go

The studio is in Bentley. The home visits go south and west.

Clinic sessions are in Bentley for everyone. Home visits are the suburbs inside the ring — if you are outside it, ring anyway and we will tell you honestly whether we can get there.

Straight answers

What people ask before the first call.

Do I need a referral to see you?

No. You can book an assessment with us directly and pay for it yourself — that is the fourth door in the panel above. A referral or a plan changes the paperwork and who we send the invoice to. It does not change our fee.

What actually happens in the first session?

Sixty minutes. We talk about what you want to be able to do, we watch you walk, stand up out of a chair, reach and balance, we take a few simple measurements, and you leave with a written programme and a date for the next one. No treadmill test unless there is a reason for one.

How is an exercise physiologist different from a physio?

We do not do hands-on treatment — no massage, no manipulation, no needles. Our whole job is prescribing exercise and coaching you through it, usually over weeks rather than one visit. If what you need is hands-on, we will say so at the assessment and point you at someone who does it.

Is there a discount for booking a bigger block?

No, and we would rather explain why than pretend. A ten-session block at a discount is money you have paid for sessions you may not need, and a block you stop attending is not a saving. Ten sessions cost ten times what one session costs, and you can stop after four.

Can you come to my house?

Yes, in the suburbs on the map above, for $40 a session on top of the fee. It is the same programme with the same person — we bring bands, a step and a set of scales rather than expecting your lounge room to be a gym.

What if I cannot make a session?

Ring or text us the day before and we move it, no charge. If you do not turn up and we have not heard from you, we charge the session, because the hour was held for you. We will remind you of that once, when you book.

Book an assessment

Tell us the door and the suburb. We will ring you back.

We need a name to put on the callback.

Numbers, spaces and + only.

That does not look like a phone number — digits, spaces and + only, at least eight of them.

Which suburb are we coming to, or coming from?

Pick one, or pick “Not sure yet” — that is a real answer.

One sentence is plenty. Do not send us test results through a web form.

Or ring (08) 9000 0428 — someone in the studio answers between sessions.

Before you send it

  • You do not need a referral to book. It changes the paperwork, not the price.
  • We answer with a date and a fee, not a brochure. The fee is already on this page.
  • Bring the plan or the letter if you have one. We read it with you before we quote a block.
  • If we are not the right people — hands-on treatment, or something a doctor should look at first — we will say so on the phone, not after you have paid for an assessment.

This is a demonstration build by Sapience Analytics. Want one pointed at your customers?

Steadyline is not a real practice — the page is. What makes it work is not the drawing: it is that a person holding a referral gets a total, a checklist and a plain refusal in about ten seconds, in a sector where every competitor says “fees on enquiry”. That gap between what buyers ask and what an industry publishes is the same in most trades. We build the page that closes it.
