How much does gutter replacement cost?

Should I replace or repair?
If it's one weeping joint or a sag pooling water, a repair from $190 is honest money. If rust is freckling through the paint along the run — not just at joints — the steel is done from the inside, and patching it is buying paint for a boat that's sinking. Do gutter guards actually work?
Mesh keeps leaves and ball-sized debris out, which is what blocks downpipes and rusts gutters. Fine grit and jacaranda flowers still get through, so an occasional check is honest maintenance — but it's a look every couple of years, not a shovel-out every season. $28/lm fitted with new gutters.
How long does the job take?
Most single-storey replacements are done in a day — old quad off in the morning, new run and downpipes on by afternoon. Double storey or long L-shaped runs go a second day. Cleaning and repairs are half-day visits.
When should I book for winter?
Autumn. The first real front hits Perth around late May and the phone doesn't stop until August — by then we're booking weeks out and triaging overflows first. Book in March or April and you pick your week, and the new run gets a dry month to prove itself.
