The Standfast Week

Build your training week

Pick a goal, pick your days. The week fills itself with real sessions off our whiteboard, and the price updates as you go — no “enquire for pricing”, no surprises at the desk.

Your goal

Days per week

3days / week

Plates to calibration — blue 20 kg · yellow 15 kg · chalk-ring 10 kg. Saturday is open gym for members.

Your week, weekly

$79/wk

3 coached sessions · Mon, Wed & Fri

Your first two weeks: session one is a movement assessment — we watch you squat, hinge and press before anything goes on the bar. Loads stay light for a fortnight while positions settle. You are coached every rep from day one.

Same floors as the memberships below. No joining fee.

Memberships

The price is the price

Weekly, direct-debit, and honest: no joining fee, no lock-in, 30 days’ notice to leave. We cap membership so the 5:30pm class never runs past eight people.

Small-group · 2×/wk

$59/wk

Two coached sessions a week. The right dose for a busy fortnight — most people start here after Foundations.

Small-group · 3×/wk

$79/wk

Three sessions on a Mon–Wed–Fri rhythm. Enough stimulus to actually progress, enough recovery to keep turning up.

Unlimited · 4×+

$99/wk

Every coached class plus Saturday open gym. For people whose week runs on training, not around it.

Foundations block

$199 · 4 weeks

Eight small-group sessions learning the squat, hinge, press and carry from empty bar up. Required for new lifters.

1:1 coaching

from $95 / session

Private sessions for rehab handovers, meet prep, or people who want the platform to themselves.

Casual class

$28

Visiting, or just testing us? Book any coached class. Foundations rules still apply to new lifters.

Programming only

from $25 / wk

Your program in our app, reviewed weekly, trained wherever you are. For experienced lifters we’ve coached before.

Off-peak

from $45 / wk

Students and shift workers: 2×/wk in the 9am–3pm classes, same coaching, quieter room.

Everyone starts with Foundations unless you can show us your squat. It’s not a sales gate — it’s how we keep the group classes moving fast and your back happy.

Members, in their own words

★★★★★

“Pulled my first 100 kg deadlift eleven months after walking in unable to touch my toes. Nobody yelled, nobody filmed it for content — Dana just quietly moved my grip in and said ‘again’.”

PriyaDesk worker, 34 · member since 2025

★★★★★

“Came back at five months postpartum with GP clearance and a lot of nerves. They scaled everything without making it a thing. I’m stronger now than before the baby, and the 9am crèche corner is genuinely why I can turn up.”

BecCarlisle · member since 2024

★★★★★

“My physio said ‘find someone who’ll load your knees, slowly’. I’m 61 and I was the least fit person in the room for about six weeks — then I wasn’t. Box squats to a full squat in four months.”

Fair questions

I’m really unfit. Can I actually start here?

Yes — that’s what Foundations is for. Four weeks, eight sessions, from an empty bar (or a broomstick, honestly). Nobody in a Foundations group has any idea what they’re doing yet; that’s the point. The only people we’d redirect are those needing medical clearance first — if your GP or physio has told you to get cleared, do that, then come in.

What’s small-group training versus a normal gym membership?

A normal gym sells you access to a room. We sell you a coached session: a program on the whiteboard, a coach watching your reps, and at most seven other people sharing them. You never float around wondering what to do — and you never queue for a squat rack.

Do I need lifting experience?

No. Everyone starts with Foundations unless you can show us a competent squat, hinge and press — in which case you go straight into classes. Experienced lifters get assessed in the free intro, not made to repeat the basics.

Can I pause or cancel? What’s the catch?

No lock-in. Cancel with 30 days’ written notice, any time, no exit fee. Pauses: two weeks minimum, up to eight weeks a year, for travel or injury — just tell us before your debit date. That’s the whole policy; there is no page two.

What should I bring to my first session?

Flat-soled shoes (or bare feet is fine for lifting), a water bottle, and shorts or tights you can squat in. We supply the chalk, the bars and the patience. Leave the lifting belt at home for now — you won’t need one for months.

Do you do nutrition or meal plans?

Honest answer: we’re coaches, not dietitians. We run simple habit check-ins — protein, sleep, steps — because they move the needle for strength. If you need a meal plan or have a medical condition, we’d refer you to an accredited practising dietitian rather than pretend.
