What counts as a small job?
If it’s under a day, it’s ours. Doors, screens, patches, sealant, mounting, gates, palings, dripping washers, sagging pelmets — the fridge-door list. The moment your list is really a renovation, we’ll say so and point you at a builder before anything starts.
Do I need to supply materials?
Usually not. Common hardware lives on the van — mesh, silicone, plasterboard offcuts, packers, fixings, standard handles — and it’s billed at cost, receipts shown. Anything special (a particular tap, a specific bracket) we’ll ask you to choose and we’ll collect it.
Why does the first hour cost more?
Because the van, the fuel and the turning up live in it. The first hour is $110 with the callout built in, then it’s $42 per started half-hour — which is why one longer visit beats three short ones. That’s the whole point of the list.
Can you really do a whole list in one go?
That’s the job. Send the list when you book — the planner above prices it in minutes — and the van gets loaded for exactly those jobs. Most fridge-door lists are two to four hours end to end.
Are you a licensed builder?
No — and jobs that need one get told so. In WA, work over $20,000 or structural work needs a registered builder. Handyman work sits well under that line, and when your job doesn’t, saying so early is part of the service.
