Bench-built assembly
Bring the old one to the Naval Base workshop. We match the bore, the construction and both ends off the failed assembly and swage a new one on the bench — most inside twenty minutes.
Assemblies built on the bench at Naval Base while you wait, a van to the breakdown, and an after-hours truck for the 2am burst. Bring us the old one. We’ll match it.
Every assembly pressure-tested and tagged before it leaves the bench Built to SAE 100R2AT and 100R13
Crimp, pressure test and tagging are in the price — we don’t charge per end.
Re-usable fittings off your old assembly are credited on the invoice, not in this estimate — we show you the old ones before they go in the bin.
The spec above travels with the enquiry form — hose, length, fittings, service and zone. Send it through and we’ll confirm the crimp dies and the run time by phone.
What we build
Prices are GST-inclusive and cover the crimp, the pressure test and the tag. Hose is priced per whole metre; fittings are priced per end and always come as a pair.

The van carries hose on the reel, ferrules and dies for the common bores, and swages on the tailgate. First thirty minutes on site are inside the callout.
Night shift, weekend, the 2am burst on a loader. The after-hours truck runs inside the metro boundary; the first hour on site is inside the callout.
The workhorse: two layers of braided wire for return lines, forklift masts, tippers and general plant. Cut and swaged to the millimetre off your old assembly.
Four spiral-wound layers for excavator booms, dozer rams and anything that pulses hard all day. Heavier to handle, longer to live.
JIC 37° flare and BSP in both genders, straight, 45° and 90°. Mixed ends are normal — a JIC one end and a BSP the other is a standard build here.
The high-pressure four-bolt flange off excavator pumps and travel motors. We carry the O-rings and the split halves for the common sizes.
Every assembly on your yard tagged, photographed and listed with its build date, so the workshop manager changes hoses on a schedule instead of on a Friday afternoon.
ABN 00 000 000 376 · Marlock Hydraulics is a fictional business and every figure on this page is demonstration copy. SAE 100R2AT and SAE 100R13 are real hose standards, named here because a real operator would name them.
What people say
“Forklift died in the roller door with a pallet of steel on the tynes and nothing could get past it. Rang at 10:20, van was in the yard by 11:05, mast hose swaged on the tailgate. We lost forty minutes, not a shift.”
Dave R.Fabrication shop, Henderson
“Boom hose let go at half three on a Friday and the part number was long gone off the sleeve. Took the old one down to Naval Base, they matched the bore and both ends off the failed assembly and I was back on site before five.”
Steve M.Earthmoving contractor, Bibra Lake
“They walked our yard, tagged every assembly on nineteen trucks and gave us a changeout schedule. First year we’ve had no roadside hose failures. The tags alone paid for it.”
Priya N.Workshop manager, transport yard, Malaga

The Hose Run’s scenario comes across with this form. We confirm the crimp dies, the run time and the price by phone before anything gets cut.
Ring it through instead of typing it. We’d call you back inside one business hour on a weekday if you use the form — but a dead machine in a doorway deserves a phone call.
(08) 9000 0376Workshop: Mon–Fri 6:30am–4:30pm, Sat 7am–noon.
After-hours truck: any hour, inside the metro boundary.
Asked on the phone
If the answer you need isn’t here, ring the workshop — we’d rather talk you through it than guess at it on a page.
We won’t promise a time on a webpage — we’ll tell you the real one when you ring, because it depends on where the van already is. On a weekday inside Kwinana, Henderson or Rockingham it is usually inside the hour. Metro is usually the same morning or the same afternoon. The after-hours truck rolls when you call it.
Almost always. Bring us the old one — or leave it on the machine for the fitter. We measure the bore, count the wire layers, identify both ends off the threads and the seat angle, and measure the assembly length between the sealing faces. The sleeve print is convenient; it is not necessary.
Yes. 3/4" and 1" four-spiral to SAE 100R13 are carried on the van and on the bench, with the matching ferrules and dies. Above 1" we build it at the workshop — the swager takes it, the tailgate press doesn’t.
The mobile callout is $180 and covers travel inside the Kwinana–Henderson–Rockingham zone plus the first thirty minutes on site. After-hours is $340 and covers the first hour. Beyond that we bill labour at the quoted rate on the job card. Hose and fittings are extra and are what the Hose Run above prices.
Crimping, the pressure test and the tag are never charged separately.
Every assembly we build gets a tag: bore, construction, both ends, build date and our number. If you want the yard on a register we walk it, tag what is already fitted, photograph each one and hand you a changeout schedule. That one is quoted per fleet after the walk — the size of the yard decides it, not a rate card.
Both fitters hold current construction white cards, confined-space and working-at-heights tickets, and standard inductions for the Kwinana industrial area. Site-specific inductions we book in with your HSE contact before the run. Mine-site and regional work sits in the beyond-metro zone — the hose and ends price normally, the travel is quoted once we know the gate.
