LPS design and install
Air terminals or a mesh conductor, tape down the walls, earth electrodes in inspection pits, bonded back to the main earth per AS/NZS 3000. Tested and handed over with a certificate and an as-built drawing.

AS 1768 · Rolling sphere · Perth metro
Air terminals, down conductors, earthing and surge protection for commercial buildings across the Perth metro. Roll the AS 1768 sphere over your roof and see where a strike can reach.
Lightning attaches where a sphere of a set radius can touch. Air terminals hold that sphere off the deck; the question is only how far apart they can stand before it sags between them. Change anything below and the drawing above answers it.

The sphere tells us where a strike can reach; what your building actually needs is a risk assessment against AS 1768, and we do that on site before we quote a single finial. This drawing is a sizing tool, not a design — nothing on this page is certified, and a lightning protection system does not prevent a strike. It gives the current a preferred path to earth.
Six things. The floors below are real starting figures for the Perth metro — the estimator above cannot produce a number lower than the design-and-install floor, because that floor is the cheapest job we take.

The part your insurer keeps asking about. We walk the roof, count what’s on it, look at what’s inside and what the loss would be, and write the protection level down with the reasoning behind it.
from $1,850
Continuity across every joint, condition of the tape and clamps, and a resistance reading at each electrode. You get a dated certificate and a defect list, which is what the auditor wants to see.
from $780
Fall-of-potential on each electrode, with the pit lids up and the readings logged against the drawing. Sandy Perth soil drifts upward through summer, so the number matters more here than it does east.

A separate subject to the roof, and usually the one that actually costs you money: mains SPDs at the switchboard and protection on the comms, fibre and control cables coming into the rack.
from $3,200
Tape pulled off by a reroof, clamps that have gone green, terminals taken down for solar and never put back. We reinstate to the original design and re-certify it.

“Our insurer wanted an AS 1768 assessment and I had no idea where to start. They walked the roof on the Tuesday, and the report explained why we were Level III and not Level I in language I could hand to the board.”
Rebecca T. · facility manager, Malaga
“Priced the gym roof for us off the architect’s drawing, then came out and told us the deck we’d specified was already the air termination and the finials weren’t needed. That conversation cost them work and won them the earthing package.”
Dane M. · site manager, Canning Vale
“Comms room took a hit through the fibre, not the roof. They put SPDs on the incoming services and re-tested the earth, and the annual certificate has turned up on time three years running.”

Welshpool out, north to Joondalup and south to Rockingham. Roof access, height safety and scaffold are arranged by us — most jobs need an EWP or a rope crew, and that gets priced once we’ve seen the parapet.
Sixteen suburbs on the map, and everything between them. Anything past Mundijong, Yanchep or the hills we still quote, with travel shown separately on the proposal.
Tell us where the building is and what’s on the roof. We’d call you back within one business day, and the assessment fee comes off the install if you go ahead with us.
Prefer the phone? Weekdays 6.30am to 4pm on (08) 9000 0406. Storm-damage callouts are triaged the same day between November and March.
We’d call you back within one business day to book the roof visit.
This is a demonstration page, so nothing was actually sent. On the real site this would land in the job board and open a lead against the address.
