Services & honest anchors
What we paint, and what it starts at.
Every "from" price below is a real floor, not bait — it's the smallest honest version of that job, prep included. Your number firms up at the quote visit.
Feature walls
from $290
One wall, two coats, colour-matched to anything you bring us. Taped, cut and cleaned up the same day.
Room repaints
from $440
A standard bedroom, two coats of washable low-sheen — prep included, that's the job. Walls, ceilings and trims from $690 a room.
Ceilings
from $340/room
Flat ceiling white done properly — stains sealed first, edges cut sharp against the cornice. Cheaper when booked with the walls.
Whole-home interiors
from $4,900
A whole 3-bed interior, walls only, room-by-room sequencing so you keep living there. Colour consult included.
Exteriors
from $7,900
Single-storey: wash-down, prep, two coats on render or weatherboard. Two-storey and roof-line work quoted after we've walked it.
Fence & gate staining
from $28/lm
UV eats WA fences — oil-based every 3–4 years keeps timber out of the skip. Gates and posts included in the metre rate.
Repaint Estimator & Colour Studio
See the room painted before we bring a drum.
Pick a scope, a finish and one of our three Perth schemes — the room repaints live, and the estimate card shows the honest starting number for that exact job.
The three schemes are ours, argued for inner-north light: Limewash & Gum (soft limewash neutrals against a gum-green feature — kind to jarrah floors and picture rails), Coastal Overcast (grey-blue calm that holds up in bright western sun), Terracotta Dusk (warm neutrals with a baked-clay feature for 80s brick and evening rooms). At the consult we test your pick on your walls before anything is opened.
Word of mouth
The inner north talks. Mostly about edges.
They repainted our hallway and stairwell around a 1920s picture rail. The cut line along the rail is dead straight — I've had guests run a finger along it.
Helen · character home, Mount Hawthorn
Two-day turnaround between tenants: whole unit, walls and ceilings, done Thursday–Friday and the property manager listed it Monday. Invoice matched the quote to the dollar.
Raj · landlord, Joondanna
We painted to sell. At the first home open the agent pulled me aside and asked who did the paint — that's the review, really.

Straight answers
What people actually ask a painter.
How much does it cost to paint a 3-bed interior?
Walls only starts at $4,900; walls, ceilings and trims starts at $6,900. What moves the number: raked or high ceilings, heavy filling in older plaster, dark existing colours needing an extra coat, and how much furniture stays in the rooms. The quote visit turns "from" into an exact figure with the scope written down.
Do we need to move out while you paint?
No. We sequence room by room — typically two rooms in progress at a time, sealed and back to you each evening. Low-odour acrylics inside; a whole 3-bed usually runs four to six working days with you living there the whole time.
What paint do you actually use?
Trade lines, and we'll show you the drum. Premium washable low-sheen on walls, flat ceiling white, enamel or hybrid enamel on trims. If a budget tier suits the job — a rental refresh, say — we'll offer it as a priced option, labelled as what it is. You'll never pay for premium and get the mid-tier.
How long does exterior paint last in Perth?
Eight to twelve years done properly — coastal UV and salt are brutal here, and the western sun does most of the damage. The range depends on colour (dark colours cook), substrate, and whether the prep was real. Chalking and hairline checking are your early warnings.
Is a painter required to be registered in WA?
Yes — for any painting work over $1,000, WA law requires a registered painting contractor. It's a real Building Services rule, not marketing. Ask for the registration number and check it; a registered painter will hand it over without blinking. Ours is on every quote.
Can you match our existing colours?
Yes. Bring us a chip the size of a coin — a flake off the wall, a cupboard door, anything — and it goes on the spectro at the trade merchant. Matches come back within a shade you can't pick at arm's length. Handy for touch-ups where a full repaint isn't warranted, and we'll tell you which yours is.
