Questions we get at the gate
The short versions. The long versions come with a cup of tea at drop-off.
What vaccinations do you require?
C5 for dogs, F3 for cats — current, with certificates sighted at check-in. No exceptions, because kennel cough doesn't make exceptions either. If your pet is due, most local vets can fit a booster in the same week.
Can both my pets share a run or a condo?
Same home, same type — yes, at sharing rates: second small dog $39, second large dog $44, second cat $29 a night. Cross-type pairs (a dog and a cat) are booked by phone so we can plan neighbouring spots within sight of each other.
What does "peak" mean, and why the minimum?
Peak is the WA school holidays — the fortnight everyone flies. It adds $8 a night per pet, and peak stays have a 3-night minimum billed in nights: book two peak nights and the stay bills as three. It keeps the run available for whole holidays rather than single overnights.
My pet is on medication — is that a problem?
Not at all. Any script, either pet, $4 a night for the booking, and every dose is logged with a time and an initial. Insulin, thyroid tablets, the half-a-pill-hidden-in-cheese routine — all standard here.
Can I see the place before I book?
Any morning, no appointment. Walk in during drop-off hours and one of us will show you the runs, the condos and the paddock. If a boarding place won't show you around, that's your answer about them.
What should I pack?
Their usual food if they're sensitive, their meds if any, and one thing that smells like home — a shirt beats a toy. We supply bedding, bowls and the rest; anything you bring goes home washed.
