What the car park says
★★★★★
Booked the holiday group lessons for my nine-year-old. Third lesson in she’s up and riding, and now she critiques my pop-up from the shallows. Money extremely well spent.Sarah M. — Karrinyup
★★★★★
Booked the whole bank for my sister’s hens. Every single one of us stood up, nobody cried, and we stayed on the sand for bacon rolls till ten. Best morning of the weekend by a mile.Bec T. — Scarborough
★★★★★
Fifty-four years old and I’ve watched people surf Trigg my whole life. Caught my first green wave on lesson four of the 5-pack. Should have done this thirty years ago.Rob D. — Doubleview

Where we surf
The banks between Trigg Point and Scarborough
Lessons meet at the Trigg Beach car park, twenty minutes from the CBD. When the Trigg bank isn’t working we walk the two minutes south to Scarborough — between the two there’s almost always a clean learner wave.
Why Trigg Point
The bank inside the point holds a slow, peeling left that breaks over sand, not reef — soft landings, long rides, and a channel to paddle back out without taking one on the head.
The 6am call
We check the swell, wind and bank at 6am every day. If it’s no good, we call you by 6:30 and rebook — no lesson burned, no standing around in an onshore mess.
Questions from the sand
Asked in the car park, answered here
Do I need my own board or wetsuit?
No — everything’s included in every lesson. We run soft-top learner boards in three sizes, winter and summer wetsuits, and we even carry the sunscreen. Rock up with bathers and a towel.
What if I can’t really swim?
Honest answer: you need to be confident swimming 50 metres. If that’s a stretch, we’ll keep the lesson waist-deep on the inside bank until you’re solid — plenty of people learn their pop-up in knee-deep whitewash first.
What happens if the surf’s flat or blown out?
We check conditions at 6am and call you by 6:30 if it’s off. Your lesson rebooks to the next good bank — no lesson burned, ever. Packs don’t expire while you wait for swell.
What age can groms start?
Seven, with a parent on the sand. Under-tens surf the inside bank with a coach within arm’s reach, and our holiday grom camps run every school holidays for the 7–14s.
Do lessons run in winter?
Winter is the best waves of the year — cleaner banks, lighter crowds, warmer than you think. Bring yourself; we supply the thicker wettie.
