Joondalup since 2015A fictional decade of northern-corridor swimmers (this is a demonstration)

Parents on the bench say

Three families, three different lanes.

"Maya screamed through her first two Splash lessons. Week three she jumped in before the teacher even asked. They weren't kidding about the no-tears thing."

Renae · Currambine

"The free assessment took fifteen minutes and they placed both boys in different levels than the last school had them. Turns out that's why nobody was progressing."

Dave · Kinross

"Squad at 6:30am, two mornings a week, seventeen dollars a session. Cheaper than the trampoline park and she sleeps like a log."

Questions from the front desk

What age should my child start?+
Paddlers takes babies from six months — earlier is easier, because water confidence is mostly about familiarity. But there's no wrong age: school-age beginners go straight into Stroke Foundations and typically catch up within a couple of terms.
What should we bring to a lesson?+
Bathers, a towel, and a swim nappy for under-3s (we sell them at the desk if you forget). Goggles are optional until Stroke Foundations, where they start to help. The water is 32°, so no wetsuits needed — ever.
What happens if we miss a lesson?+
Every enrolment includes two make-up lessons per term. Book them through the front desk into any class of the same level with space — no medical certificate required, life happens.
How long does each level take?+
Most kids spend two to four terms in a level, but we move swimmers on skills, not the calendar. Teachers assess continuously, and you'll hear from us the week your child is ready to move up — not at the end of term.
What's the pathway into squad?+
Stroke Development swimmers who can hold 50 m of freestyle move into Squad from age eight — two sessions a week at $340 a term, which works out to $17 a session. Swimmers who outgrow us get a warm handover to a local swimming club.
How warm is the pool, really?+
32 degrees, indoors, year-round — warm enough that toddlers don't stiffen up and lessons run through winter without a shiver. We test the water twice daily and publish the reading at the front desk.
