Crewed lane closures
from $1,020
The 4-hour crew: 2 controllers × 4 hr × $95 + $260 kit. The minimum is hours, not dollars — short jobs still get the full stand-up.
Maddington · Metro-wide · Crews 24/7
Traffic management crews, cones and approved TMPs across Perth — based in Maddington, on site at 6am, audit-ready every shift. Civil, utility, events and council overflow.
RUN SHEET — LANE CLOSURE · 2 TC · 8 HR · DAY · TMP
Minimum 4 hours per shift, billed at the selected crew size — a crew that stands up for you at 6am is a crew for the morning whether the job runs one hour or four.
All four work types share the one crew-hours meter — the drawing changes, the arithmetic doesn't. Add-ons are flat.
Night loading is the award, not a margin — the kit doesn't care what time it is.
Councils and Main Roads want the drawing before the cones — allow 5–10 working days for approval; urgent works have a fast lane and we'll tell you if yours qualifies.
Services & honest rates
Accredited controllers are $95/hr each, the kit is $260 a shift, and the minimum is four hours — the arithmetic below is the same arithmetic the planner runs. No call-out mystery, no quote theatre.
from $1,020
The 4-hour crew: 2 controllers × 4 hr × $95 + $260 kit. The minimum is hours, not dollars — short jobs still get the full stand-up.
from $1,780
8 hr × 2 controllers × $95 + $260 kit. Most civil shifts land here; extra controllers add $95/hr each.
from $2,160
$1,520 of day labour × 1.25 award loading + $260 kit. The loading is the award, not a margin — the kit doesn't care what time it is.
from $480
Drawn by accredited designers, lodged with the council or Main Roads. Allow 5–10 working days for approval — the lead time is the real deadline.
from $1,500
The 4-hour crew + kit ($1,020) + the TMP ($480). Barriers on the closure line, cones on the taper, and a drawing the council recognises.
from $95/shift
Towed, set and pulsing before the first truck arrives. Message boards quoted per job on the same flat basis.
In WA, traffic management on public roads runs under Main Roads WA accreditation — our controllers carry current Basic Worksite Traffic Management and Traffic Controller tickets, our TMPs are drawn by accredited designers, and the paperwork rides in the ute. An unaccredited crew is a shutdown notice waiting at the first audit.

Demonstration reviews — written for this demo the way real clients talk about traffic crews.
Our asphalt crew rolled up early and Laneline's crew was coned and waving trucks through eleven minutes later. That's the whole job — being ready before we are.
Our verge permits kept bouncing until Laneline's TMP went in with the application. Same works, same council — different drawing, straight through.
The street festival closure got approved first submission — the council officer recognised the drawing style before she read the name on it.
Service area
The depot sits on the Tonkin–Albany corridor, which puts a loaded ute inside most metro worksites within 40 minutes. South-east corridor jobs — Maddington, Gosnells, Canning Vale, Armadale — are home turf.
Straight answers
Accredited controllers are $95/hr each with a 4-hour minimum per shift, billed at the selected crew size, plus $260 a shift for signs, cones and the ute kit. So the smallest crewed job — two controllers for four daytime hours — is $1,020 all-in. The planner at the top of this page runs the same arithmetic live.
On public roads, almost always — councils and Main Roads want an approved Traffic Management Plan before the first cone goes down. Ours are drawn by accredited designers from $480, and the approval lead time (5–10 working days) is the real deadline, not the drawing time.
48 hours for a crew, and 5–10 working days if the TMP needs approval. Call anyway — cancellations happen, and a crew that frees up at 4pm can be on your site at 6am.
Yes — plainly. Laneline holds Main Roads WA accreditation, every controller carries current Basic Worksite Traffic Management and Traffic Controller cards on site, and our TMP designers are accredited too. Audit-ready is the baseline, not the brochure.
Most weeks, more nights than days. Any start between 6pm and 4am runs at labour × 1.25 — the award loading, not a margin — with the kit unchanged at $260. An 8-hour, 2-controller night shift is $1,520 × 1.25 + $260 = $2,160.
The meter keeps running by the hour and the controllers stay till the lane's safe — we don't pack up at 2:59. You'll get the extra hours on the invoice at the same $95 rate, never a "late finish fee".
