"The Bali plan had the one hotel with the pool fence we'd actually asked for, first go. Nobody else had even read the brief."
Subiaco · trip design & booking
Trip design from 32° south.
Bali, Japan, Europe and cruises ex-Fremantle — planned, priced and booked from our Subiaco studio, by people who answer the phone when the airline's app won't.
✓ ATAS accredited (A00000 — demo) · designing trips since 2012
Trip design is $180 flat, credited in full when you book. You pay for the plan or the trip — never both.
The Trip Sketcher prints planning figures, not quotes. Sketch your trip, then bring it to the session — your quote is exact and itemised.
Cruise fares are per person, twin share — the sketcher plans for two or more. Solo cabins exist and we quote them honestly, on the phone.
Cabins, not hotels: on a cruise the comfort chips read inside / balcony / suite.
Planning figures from recent bookings, not quotes — fares move daily; we quote exact at booking.

Since 2012
Fourteen years of routes out of Perth — and the supplier contacts that come with them.
ATAS accredited
The travel industry's own accreditation scheme. ATAS A00000 (demonstration placeholder).
Client account
Your money sits in a client account until the suppliers are paid — and we'll show you exactly who's been paid what, when.
Fare-drop honesty
If the fare drops before ticketing, you get the drop. We take a fee, not a spread.
The 2am line
When the airline cancels at 2am their time, you call us, not a chatbot. Rebooking is the product — the brochure is just the start.
Trips & pricing, printed plainly.
Every "from" figure below is the sketcher's own arithmetic at its cheapest honest setting — planning bands from recent bookings, quoted exact at booking.
Trip design
$180 flatA sit-down (or video) session, a shortlist that fits your dates and your people, and an itemised quote. Credited in full when you book — you pay for the plan or the trip, never both.
$180 − $180 credit at booking = $0 on top of the trip
Bali & Indonesia
from $1,580Family pool-fence audits included in the shortlist, not discovered at check-in. School-holiday dates sell out by autumn — sketch early.
1 traveller · 5 nights · essentials: $580 flights + 5 × $130 room + 5 × $70 allowance = $1,580
Japan
from $2,500Rail passes, luggage forwarding and the one unmissable dinner booking — sorted before you land. Cherry season books a year out.
1 traveller · 5 nights · essentials: $1,150 flights + 5 × $180 room + 5 × $90 allowance = $2,500
Europe
from $3,500The deferred-twice trip, done properly: open-jaw fares, trains over transfers, shoulder season as the value play.
1 traveller · 5 nights · essentials: $1,850 flights + 5 × $220 room + 5 × $110 allowance = $3,500
South Pacific cruises ex-Fremantle
from $2,550It leaves from home — that's the point. Midship cabins on the right deck, because someone here has actually sailed the ship. Fares are per person, twin share.
2 guests · 5 nights · inside: 2 × 5 × $210 fare + 2 × 5 × $45 shore allowance = $2,550

What clients say.
"Osaka rail passes and the one unmissable dinner booking were sorted before we'd finished the coffee. The $180 felt like the cheapest part of the trip."
"Our cabin was midship on the right deck because someone had actually sailed the ship. You can't get that from a booking engine."

One studio, most of an ocean.
The studio is in Subiaco — clients come from everywhere between the hills and the sea, and video sessions cover the rest. Walk-ins welcome; the coffee's included in the $180.

Thanks — your trip brief is received.
We'd call you back within one business hour to set a session time — mornings are quietest, and the chart wall photographs well.

Fair questions, straight answers.
Why use a travel agent in 2026?
Judgement, and a phone number that answers. The internet will sell you a fare; it won't tell you the fare's a bad idea, and it won't rebook you when the airline cancels at 2am their time. We sell the plan, the price-watching, and the person who fixes it — the booking is almost the easy part.
What does trip design cost?
$180 flat per trip, credited in full when you book. If you book the trip, the plan cost you nothing; if you take the plan and book it yourself, the $180 is the honest price of the work. You pay for the plan or the trip — never both.
Are the sketcher's prices quotes?
No — and the card says so on its face. They're planning bands built from recent bookings: real flight, room and daily-spend figures, but fares move daily. Your quote is exact and itemised, built at booking against live fares. The sketch tells you if the trip fits the budget; the quote tells you the price.
When should we book?
Honestly: earlier than feels natural. Bali school-holiday dates sell out by autumn; Japan's cherry season books a year out; Europe's shoulder months are the value play and still go early. Cruise cabins in the good midship rows go first — the fare doesn't rise as fast as the good cabins vanish.
Do you charge for changes?
The first reshuffle is part of the job. A full redesign — new destination, new month, new cast — is a new $180, credited the same way. Airline-imposed changes are ours to fix, not yours to pay for.
Is my money safe with an agent?
Your money sits in a client account until the suppliers are paid, and we'll show you who's been paid what, when. We're ATAS accredited (A00000 — a demonstration placeholder), which is the industry's own accreditation scheme — accreditation plus a visible ledger beats either alone.
