inside the group program — not a separate fee
Years 3, 5, 7 and 9 practise the format inside their normal group sessions in the lead-up. We prepare the student, we don’t sell the panic.
$75 a session · $750 a term
Max three students, one subject per group — Methods, Physics, Chemistry, English. Past papers from week one, marked the way WACE marks.
from $95 a session
One-on-one, any year level, in-centre or online. For the student who needs the hour built entirely around where they actually are.
$110 a session
Methods, Physics, Chemistry and English specialists who mark WACE-style every week. Six months out is the right time to start, not the desperate one.
planned after an assessment
The student sets the plan, not a price list. We start with an assessment session and build the program — and its cost — from what it finds.
From the fridge door
Demonstration reviews, written for this demo — the real site would carry the centre’s own.
Year 9 was hiding maths tests in the bottom of his bag. Two terms in the Tuesday group and he stuck the last one on the fridge himself — 71%. He still won’t say maths is fun. He has stopped saying he’s dumb.
I walked out of the Methods exam twenty minutes early and completely calm, because every paper my tutor set all year was harder than the real one. Got the 92 I needed for engineering.
Our year 3 flatly would not read aloud — not at school, not to us. Three terms later she reads the cereal box at breakfast and does the voices. Whatever the placement session spotted, it was the thing.
Where we teach
The centre is in Willetton, a short walk from the high school — most of our families come from the southern school belt. Online sessions run on the same term plan, with the same tutor, anywhere in WA.
Online, statewide — Geraldton to Esperance, same tutor, same term plan.
Questions parents ask
The placement session, mostly. If the gap is a couple of missing skills and confidence, a group of four is usually right — and it’s the affordable option at $60 a session. If the gap is wide, the timeline is short (hello, year 12), or the student shuts down in front of peers, private is worth the difference.
Honestly: a term to change habits, two to change marks. Anyone promising a jump inside a month is selling you the month. The week-5 progress report tells you whether the habits are moving — that’s the early signal worth watching.
We teach the WA curriculum at the school’s pace — we ask for the program outline each term so the Tuesday session lands on what Thursday’s class assumes. Tutoring that runs ahead of the classroom just builds a different confusion.
We swap, no re-enrolment, no awkwardness — you tell us once and we handle it. It happens a few times a term and it’s nobody’s failing. The “same tutor all term” promise starts from the tutor that fits.
Because the plan comes from the assessment, not a rate card. A student with a dyslexia diagnosis might need two short sessions a week; another needs one long one with a different method entirely. We price the plan we’d actually run, after we’ve met the student.
Thirty minutes, no charge, no obligation. The student works through a short diagnostic with a tutor while you tell us what the term needs to fix. You leave with a recommendation — program, sessions per week, and the term price — whether or not you enrol.

Tell us about the student and the goal. We’d call you back within one school day — with times, not a sales script.
The placement session is 30 minutes, free, and ends with a recommendation and a written term price — enrol or don’t.
