Every load comes from a licensed Water Corporation standpipe — the standpipe charge is inside the per-kL rate, not added on. Potable loads run in food-grade tankers, flushed and logged. Standing contracts, standpipe hire, water testing certificates and pool chemistry are quoted separately.

Pool fills

Things people ask before the truck comes
Is it drinking water?
Potable loads are — they come from a metered potable Water Corporation standpipe and travel in a food-grade tank that's used for nothing else, flushed and logged between loads. Non-potable is standpipe water for dust, construction and gardens: cheaper, and not for the kitchen tap.
How much does my tank hold, and how much should I order?
Most rural tanks are 90 to 135 kL. A top-up is usually 15 to 30 kL — enough to get a family through to the next decent rain without paying to fill space you'll get for free off the roof. Tell us the tank size and how low it is and we'll suggest a load.
How long does a fill take?
About 15 minutes for 15 kL through a decent inlet, slower into a small inlet or when we fill from the top. Pools with liners we fill slow on purpose. Allow half an hour on site for the rigids, longer for the semi.
Can you get up my track?
The 10 and 15 kL rigids go most places a car does — gravel, a bit of a climb, a tight gate. The 30 kL semi needs a straight run in, firm ground and room to turn or reverse out. If in doubt pick the 15 and we'll do two trips; it's cheaper than a bogged semi.
Do you fill pools?
Yes — new pools, refills after a reline and top-ups. Tell us if it has a liner (we fill slow) and where the truck can stand; anything over 30 m from the truck is a long hose run.
What about the Water Corp standpipe fee?
It's inside the per-kL rate. You'll never see a separate standpipe line on a Dryland docket — $9/kL potable and $6/kL non-potable is what the water costs you, delivered.
