Booked the long lunch for Dad's fortieth — twelve of us, and I'd braced for a rushed set menu. The winemaker did the walk-through, then stayed for the second bottle and told the whole table why the '19 shiraz tastes like the paddock. Dad hasn't stopped talking about it.
Long lunch for twelve, Mount LawleyWalk-through and celebration set-upEnd-of-quarter lunch for eighteen. The coach picked us up from St Georges Terrace at eleven, the room was ours, and lunch ran until the driver politely reminded us he was still there. Nobody had to think about a thing.
Office lunch, Perth CBDPrivate function with the return coachSunday drive, no booking, just the flight at the bar. Two of the five made it into the boot, the flight fee came off as promised, and we joined the wine club at the counter on the way out. That's how they get you, and I'm fine with it.

Straight answers
Not for the flight — walk up to the bar any day we're open and someone will pour. Book the seated tasting and the long lunch: the board is cut and the kitchen sets the table to your number, so we need to know you're coming. Every booking is a request we confirm by phone or email.
Yes. Juice at the bar, a lawn under the vines to run on, and the kitchen will do a plain plate for the lunch. Someone over eighteen orders the wine.
No — it's yours for the day. Pick-up in Perth CBD or Fremantle, drop-off after the last glass, one driver. It runs for eight guests and up at $45 a head; under eight a rideshare works out cheaper, and we'll call you one.
Tell us at booking and the kitchen handles most of it: vegetarian, gluten-free, dairy-free and pregnancy-safe are routine, and the board comes with a dry-cured and a vegetarian half if you ask. Anything unusual, mention it and we'll call to sort it.
Please do — our range sits between $22 and $48 a bottle at the door, and the flight fee comes off any two bottles you take home. Wine-club members get their pricing at the counter, and we'll pack a case for the coach.
Quoted on the brief — the room, the lawn or the barrel hall, a set menu, our wines. Sixteen and up on the long lunch is a private function by default: the room's yours and we confirm a set menu. Tell us the date and the head-count and we'll call.
